Might seem slow at first, but the show grows on you in the best way possible. What starts as a family drama turns into one of the most gripping stories about power, ambition, and relationships. Exceptional acting, razor-sharp writing, and some unforgettable moments. Close to perfection.

Agreed. I couldn’t get through the first season the first time I watched it either. But all the buzz made me give it another shot, and I’m glad I did. The brilliance of the show lies in its dialogue. Characters talking in boardrooms, cars, hallways, and living rooms, yet every conversation feels like a battle for power. There are no grand speeches or dramatic twists carrying the story; it’s the tension for succession.
I really feel any movie or series needs to be interesting from the get go. Certain events which will keep people interested and move onto the next episode. For me succession has not been able to do that successfully. A series of events kept happening but nothing which would want me to stick. I tried but i gave up after a point.
